Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on November 24 in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former political candidate and a television host at MSNBC, a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have decided to stop the show in the month of May 2021. This was necessary for them to release Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has also appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball married Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball credits her ongoing fascination with politics to her experience as a new mother in the 2008 primaries. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan while she was working there. She witnessed the impact that it had on the citizens of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the international influence of US politics. She was part of the Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st District of the Congressional Congress in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. In May 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action group working for Democratic causes.
