Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born March 4, 1954. O'Hara has been awarded numerous prizes which include a Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also was awarded two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In the year 2018, she was made an Officer of Canada. Then, in 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara began her career as an actor in 1974 as in The Second City, an Improv comedy group in Toronto. She was a part of the principal ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) along with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. In the following year, O'Hara and Candy began working in the sketch comedy program Second City Television (1976-1984) in which she received critical acclaim for both her work as a comedic actor and writer. She was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for the Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was appointed to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert. Also included were Dwayne Colbert (Steve Carell), Tina Fey and Keegan-Michael key as well as Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows. Suzy Nakamura. Sam Richardson. Jeff Richmond. Jason Sudeikis.
